從方面來(lái)說(shuō)，焊接專機(jī)要比焊接機(jī)器人更有優(yōu)勢(shì)，但大多數(shù)的廠家還是會(huì)選擇焊接機(jī)器人，因?yàn)楹附訉C(jī)是針對(duì)某種特定的產(chǎn)品而研制出的自動(dòng)化設(shè)備，多采用伺服X、Y、Z軸三個(gè)方，一般只是焊接圓形或是焊接直焊縫。

而焊接機(jī)器人就不一樣了，它采用6個(gè)伺服控制，非常靈活，可以三維立體任何方向不規(guī)則的焊接，所以相對(duì)高一些。不過(guò)焊接專機(jī)可以配4到5個(gè)焊頭，效率比焊接機(jī)器人還要高。

The welding robot is not the same, it uses six servo control, very flexible, can three-dimensional irregular welding in any direction, so the price is relatively higher. However, the welding machine can be equipped with 4 to 5 welding heads, which is more efficient than the welding robot.

由此可見(jiàn)，若是平面上的直縫、圓縫的話要選擇焊接專機(jī)，但只要旦焊接產(chǎn)品變了規(guī)格或變了形狀，那焊接專機(jī)就無(wú)用武之地了。而焊接機(jī)器人正好彌補(bǔ)了這方面的不足，這種情況下只需要重新編個(gè)程序又可以再次使用了。

It can be seen that the welding machine should be selected for the straight and round seams on the plane, but as long as the welding product changes its specification or shape, the welding machine will be useless. The welding robot just makes up for this deficiency. In this case, it only needs to reprogram and can be used again.

隨著焊接機(jī)器人應(yīng)用范圍的擴(kuò)大，焊接機(jī)器人除了基本的配置外，有時(shí)候還會(huì)增加一個(gè)或多個(gè)外部軸。也就是說(shuō)，外部軸其實(shí)就是一個(gè)跟焊接機(jī)器人相連的外部動(dòng)作系統(tǒng)，來(lái)配合機(jī)器人的動(dòng)作，能夠同時(shí)滿足焊接姿勢(shì)，也能更快速的完成整個(gè)焊接，達(dá)到滿意的效果。
